Casey & Co. LLC provides professional wedding and event planning, coordination, design, and related consulting services in Rhode Island and surrounding areas, including destination events.

Services offered through our website include inquiry submissions, portfolio viewing, and access to planning resources. Specific services for your event are governed by a separately executed Event Agreement and Scope of Services.

No service engagement is considered active or binding until C&C LLC has received a signed Event Agreement and the required non-refundable initial retainer.

Our Services

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Casey & Co. LLC website and all services provided by Casey & Co. LLC ("C&C LLC," "we," "us," or "our"), a Rhode Island limited liability company located at 456 Schooner Avenue, Jamestown, RI 02835.

These Terms apply to all visitors, prospective clients, and contracted clients. They are supplemented by — and do not replace — any separately executed Event Agreement between you and C&C LLC. In the event of conflict, the signed Event Agreement shall control.

Acceptance of Terms

terms and conditions

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website or enter into a service agreement with Casey & Co. LLC. By using our site or engaging our services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Eligibility

Retainer
A non-refundable initial retainer of 50% of the minimum service fee is required to reserve your event date. No date hold is guaranteed until a signed agreement and retainer are received.

Payment Schedule
Remaining balances are due according to the payment schedule outlined in your signed Event Agreement. Failure to make timely payments may result in termination of services without refund of amounts previously paid.

Late Payments
Overdue invoices accrue interest at 12% annually (1% per month), beginning 30 days after the due date. A $25 returned check fee applies to any dishonored checks.

Accepted Payment Methods
- Cash or personal check (made payable to Casey & Co. LLC)
- Wire transfer (subject to a $15 processing fee)
- Credit card via Aisle Planner (subject to a 3% processing fee)

Additional Costs
Any non-contracted services, overtime, purchased goods, travel beyond the included radius, or other expenses incurred by C&C LLC on your behalf will be invoiced to you at cost.

Payments & Fees

Cancellation
All fees paid to C&C LLC are non-refundable upon cancellation. If your event is canceled less than nine months prior to the event date, any outstanding scheduled payment due at that time will also be owed to compensate for work already performed and loss of the reserved date.

Postponement
If your event is postponed, all active services will pause at the time of notification if no new date is confirmed. Upon confirmation of a new event date, a new payment schedule will be established. Services will resume upon receipt of the next scheduled payment.

Travel & Accommodation Costs
Travel and accommodation costs arranged by C&C LLC on your behalf are refundable to you only if and when refunded to C&C LLC by the carrier or hotel. C&C LLC is not responsible for reimbursing travel costs independently arranged by you for C&C LLC staff.

Eligibility

Local travel to event venues within 50 miles of Jamestown, RI is included within the contracted service fee. The following additional charges apply:

- Mileage beyond 50 miles: $0.56/mile
- Parking fees where complimentary parking is unavailable
- Hotel accommodations for events beyond 50 miles (within 10–15 miles of the venue)
- Destination events (125+ miles): airfare, $50/day meal stipend, hotel (1–2 nights), and car rental

Travel arrangements may be made by you per C&C LLC specifications or by C&C LLC with your agreement to be invoiced for all associated costs.

Travel & Expenses

C&C LLC acts as a liaison and coordinator between you and third-party vendors but is not a party to any contracts you enter with vendors and is not responsible for vendor payments. All vendor payments are made directly by you to the vendor.

C&C LLC is liable only for services directly performed by C&C LLC and cannot be held responsible for the actions, performance, or failure of any third-party vendor, regardless of whether that vendor was recommended or coordinated by C&C LLC.

Contracted Vendors & Liability

You agree to take reasonable steps to provide C&C LLC staff with a safe and respectful working environment throughout your event. C&C LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate services — without refund — if staff are subjected to threatening, abusive, or unsafe conditions.

C&C LLC may, at its discretion, enforce a three-strike policy for disruptive behavior before departing the event. You remain responsible for full payment regardless of whether C&C LLC departs early due to conduct or safety concerns.

No weapons or firearms are permitted at any event location where C&C LLC is providing services. Neither you nor your guests may request C&C LLC staff to perform any illegal or unsafe act.

Health & Communicable Disease
You agree to promptly notify C&C LLC if you, any vendor, or any guest attending your event exhibits symptoms of, or has been exposed to, any contagious or communicable illness. C&C LLC reserves the right to suspend or end services in any environment deemed unsafe for staff due to health conditions, including but not limited to COVID-19.

Appropriate Conduct & Safe Working Environment

C&C LLC reserves the right to photograph and/or record events for advertising and promotional purposes, including use on our website, print materials, and social media. With permission from your contracted photographer and/or videographer, C&C LLC may also use professional media for these purposes.

Upon written request, C&C LLC will obscure identifying names and images for privacy purposes.

Media Release

C&C LLC shall not be held liable for failure to perform under circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, fire, natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, government-declared emergency, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, or sudden illness or death affecting C&C LLC principals.

In such circumstances, C&C LLC will make reasonable efforts to arrange a qualified replacement planner at no additional cost to you, subject to your approval. Venue- or municipality-imposed reductions in guest count do not constitute a force majeure event under this policy.

Intellectual Property

C&C LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of our services or these Terms is strictly limited to the amounts you have actually paid to C&C LLC under your Event Agreement, less any amounts paid by C&C LLC to third-party vendors on your behalf.

C&C LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or incidental damages of any kind, including loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, or damages arising from the failure of any third-party vendor.

Limitation of Liability

These Terms, and all services provided by C&C LLC, are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island. Any legal claims arising under these Terms may only be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Washington County, Rhode Island. You expressly waive any right to a jury trial.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

The prevailing party in any legal proceeding shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees and associated legal costs in addition to any other relief awarded.

Dispute Resolution

C&C LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of this website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
